Here's what I came up with for this weeks 52Frames submission. I don't know how cinematic it really is, but I suppose one could envision it as a scene-setting shot where we could assume that the protagonist has parked their truck and gone into the bar where we will soon follow.

This one was another idea I had for the cinematic theme of this weeks #52frames challenge. My idea was sort of a mysterious noir theme. It's a bit tricky in one still image to get both the overall scene, and also the bit of mystery provided by what's being written in the journal. But I kinda like it and it gave me a chance to be in front of the camera which is something I'm going to be trying more this year.
